Dr. Selvin’s research interests are epidemiological methods and their application to diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and peripheral arterial disease with emphasis on markers of glycemic control including hemoglobin A1c. She has a particular interest in the interface of epidemiology and clinical and public health policy, especially with respect to how epidemiologic research can inform diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and kidney disease screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
