Research and Professional Experience

My research area is the design and coordination of multicenter clinical trials and longitudinal observational studies. I also am interested in the use of quality of life outcomes in trials.

Disease areas of interest are: Alzheimer's disease and other neurological and mental health conditions in older people; and AIDS and its complications, particularly CMV retinitis.

Keywords

Epidemiology, clinical trials, quality of life

Honors and Awards

Clinical Trials Training Grant recipient, 1993-1996
