Research and Professional Experience

To examine psychosocial and behavioral factors that influence minority and women’s health status and health outcomes associated with chronic disease and other health-related conditions.

To explore the implications of religion and spirituality for various health outcomes.

To identify and assess approaches that lead to the success and sustainability of community-based interventions in highest-risk communities.

To utilize partnerships and collaborative research opportunities that strongly focus on the conduct and dissemination of applied prevention research.
