Research and Professional Experience

Research interests include psychopharmacology, pharmacoepidemiology, child mental health services research,survey research and community-based evaluations of psychopharmacologic treatments for children and adolescents. Prior research includes analyses of large administrative claims data to assess population trends in the use of psychopharmacologic treatments for children and adolescents, of public use data from the National Center for Health Statistics, and the development and administration of a parental survey of knowledge attitudes and satisfaction with medication treatmetn for ADHD.

Current research is focused on evidence-based practices and use of mixed-methods (qualitative and quantitative approaches) to examine the delivery of mental health services and treatments to children and adolescents who are treated in community-based practice settings.
