Research and Professional Experience

My main research interest is on the influence of social networks among urban populations. Specifically, I am interested in the role of perceived norms and interpersonal communication on the adoption of HIV risk behaviors.

In addition, my work focuses on dissemination of evidence-based HIV prevention interventions into the community.
