Research and Professional Experience

Social epidemiology focussed on women's and children's health and health policy. Specific areas of research include: intimate partner violence; neighborhoods and health; mental health; welfare reform and women's health; prevention of HIV infection; perinatal outcomes with a particular focus on infant mortality and preterm birth prevention; and children's health and development.
