Baltimore Diabetes Research and Training Center (P60) -- More than 130 investigators from University of Maryland and the Johns Hopkins University join together to create the Center to fosters collaborative, multidisciplinary diabetes and endocrinology research, and translates that research into programs.

Practice-based Opportunities for Weight Reduction (POWER) Trials Resource Coordinating Unit --This U01 consists of 3 randomized trials to determine the effectiveness of clinical-behavioral interventions on weight loss among obese adults with CVD risk factors.

Patient Oriented Research In Type 2 Diabetes -- Provide mentorship to clinical scientists on prevention of type 2 diabetes and its complications, with special emphasis on diabetes in the African American community.

Osler Medical Housestaff Research Program -- This program provides mentorship in the conduct of original research during medical residency.
